Horological Livestream – Sunday 29 September, 11am. Join the Museum’s conservation team for another livestream. This time we dismantle and do a deep dive into an exceptionally rare and important clock, made by Isaac Jackson. One of the few clocks in existence with Mudge’s Gravity Escapement.
We’ll delve into some other interesting gravity escapements first, before dismantling and sharing the details of Jackson’s clock. We’ll service it and reassemble. Watch live as we work on exceptional pieces of horology!
