The museum is currently within an exciting time of development and is looking to recruit new volunteers to become a valuable part of the workforce and also as trustees. We welcome volunteers sharing an interest in the museum from all backgrounds and abilities.

Don’t worry if you don’t know much about clocks and watches as training opportunities plus useful volunteer resources will be provided to help you get started. The museum also very much welcomes volunteer interest from professional and amateur horologists who would like to get involved in the work of the museum.
Whether you are looking for a regular weekly volunteering opportunity, or perhaps just one day a fortnight or month, our volunteering options are flexible, and can be arranged to suit.

Work Placements & Internships
If you are interested in studying towards a career in heritage, the arts, or working in museums, a placement or volunteering role at the Museum of Timekeeping may also be something that you would like to consider. We can offer opportunities across a range of areas and will provide support so that you can develop the relevant skills and knowledge you need.
