Alan was Chairman of the Museum Trustees until January 2022. He is a Fellow of the BHI and has been a member of the BHI for fifty years. He has been associated with the BHI Museum Trust, which became the Museum of Timekeeping, since 1994 and at various times has been a Trustee, Chairman, curator and librarian. Alan has a broad interest in horological matters, particularly in the field of English watches, longcase clocks and public timekeeping. His area of expertise is his extensive knowledge of the Museum collection, which he will put to good use in continuing the cataloguing of the collection as a volunteer and assisting with guided tours.
