Support Us

As an independent charity (1176495), we rely on generous support like yours to secure the future of the Museum of Timekeeping for everyone.

Did you know as an independent Museum, we do not receive any funding from local or central government. We operate with one full time member and three part-time members of staff on a minimum budget to keep the Museum open. Donations are used to create and maintain exhibitions, preserve the collection, develop educational resources and conduct research. We have lots of great ways for you to become involved and we are always open to new ideas.

Timekeepers’ Club

In January 2024, the Museum re-launched its Friends of the Museum programme as the exciting Timekeepers’ Club. This membership club provides behind-the-rope access to unique horological activities and events in conjunction with industry partners. This will be complemented with incredible bespoke experiences, drawing on the Museum’s wealth of unique content and breadth of talent. Members will continue to receive our exclusive newsletter issued 3 times per year.
